Let Claude or ChatGPT use your lists
Add Ring List to Claude or ChatGPT as a connector, sign in and tap Allow. It can then read your lists and add, change or plan tasks for you.
Let an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT read your lists and work on them from its own chat: “What’s due this week?”, “Add buy milk to Errands”, “Put the report in today’s plan”.
What you need
- An assistant that lets you add a custom connector. Its own help says whether yours does.
- Ring List’s address for it: https://ringlist.ai/mcp
Connect it
- In the assistant’s settings, add a custom connector with the address above. In Claude, it’s Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- The assistant opens a Ring List page. Sign in if it asks.
- The page says what the assistant will be able to do, such as “see your lists, tasks and plans” and “add, change, tick off and delete tasks”. Tap Allow.
You’re back in the assistant, connected. The page lasts 10 minutes; if it says That link has run out, connect again from the assistant.
When it suggests a change
An assistant can suggest changes instead of making them. A note says Claude suggests 3 changes. Tap Review, untick anything you don’t want, then tap Do it or Do these. Closing the card with ✕ says no; Not now in the note asks again the next time you open Ring List.
Take it back
- A suggestion you accepted: tap Undo in the note.
- A change it made itself: ask the assistant to undo it (“undo that”). Your own Undo button doesn’t reach it.
See or disconnect it

Open Settings › Account and scroll to Connected apps. Each app shows what it can do and when it was last used. Disconnect stops it at once; there’s no Undo, so to let it back in, connect again.
For people who write scripts
Make a token for scripts, under Connected apps, makes a key for the ringlist command or your own script. It can do what you can with your lists and Today’s Plan. It’s shown only once: keep it like a password, and Disconnect it to stop it.
