Focus on one task
Start a timer ring on one task, with nothing else on the screen. Choose ⏱️ Focus on this, pick how long, and get to work.

Start a ring
On a phone
Tap the task to edit it, tap ⋯, then ⏱️ Focus on this.
On a computer
Right-click the task and choose ⏱️ Focus on this.
On Today’s Plan, the next task up also has a ⏱ at its right: tap it to start.
The first time, choose 15 minutes, 25 minutes or 45 minutes, or type a number and press Start. After that, Ring List uses the same length. To change it, open Settings › General › Focus.
While it runs
- Pause stops the clock; Resume carries on.
- Stop for now ends the ring and keeps the minutes you’ve done.
- I’m finished ticks the task off. For a habit, it checks it in.
- Sound: Off, under them, can play brown noise, pink noise, the ocean or rain.
To do something else meanwhile, press Back or ‹ at the top left. The ring keeps going: a small one with the minutes left shows in the top row, and after the task’s words. Tap either to return.
When the time’s up
You get 5-minute break, Another 25 (or whatever your length is), Close and I’m finished. With notifications on, a notification tells you if Ring List is out of sight.
What it earns
A ring run to its end earns 10 Light, up to three rings a day. Stop for now keeps your minutes but earns no Light. Your focus time shows in Progress as Focused this week.
