Install Ring List on your phone or computer
Add Ring List to your phone’s home screen or your computer so it opens like an app, even with no connection.
Ring List runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to download from an app store. Installing it puts its icon on your home screen or computer, and it opens in a window of its own, like any app.
On Android
- Open ringlist.ai in Chrome.
- Tap Chrome’s menu (⋮ at the top right), then Install and create shortcut.
- Choose Install, not Create shortcut.
On an iPhone
- Open ringlist.ai in Safari.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
On a computer
- Open ringlist.ai in Chrome or Edge.
- Click Install in the address bar, or in the browser’s menu.
When the browser offers it, there’s also an Install button in Settings › General › Install Ring List.
Then open Ring List from its new icon. If it asks you to sign in, use the 6-digit code from the email: the link in the email opens your browser instead. See Sign in and out.
What you gain
- It opens with no connection. Your lists are there, and what you change is saved when you’re back online. See Offline and sync.
- On Android, you can share to it. Share text, a photo or a PDF from another app to Ring List, and it becomes an Inbox task. See Share and bookmark.
- On an iPhone, it can send notifications. An iPhone sends them only to Ring List installed this way. See Notifications.
Nitepad and Talkpad
Nitepad, for writing an idea down at night, and Talkpad, for saying tasks aloud, can each have an icon of their own. Their pages say how to add them.
