Find your way around
Ring List has four kinds of page. Use ‹ to go back and the sidebar to go anywhere. Here’s what each button in the top bar does.
The four kinds of page
- Ring Lists is the home page: a ring for each of your lists. Tap a ring, or click it, to open it. See Ring Lists.
- A list shows its sections and tasks. Tap its title to rename it.
- Today’s Plan ☀️ is what you’ll do today, picked from all your lists. Its Inbox holds tasks that belong to no list. See How Today’s Plan works.
- All Lists shows the tasks of every list together: your top priorities, what’s due, and a search of everything. See All Lists.
Today’s Plan and All Lists are the first two rings on Ring Lists. All Lists comes with your first list of your own.
Move between them
- The sidebar button at the top left opens the sidebar, which lists every page: Today’s Plan ☀️ and its Inbox, All Lists and its views, your pinned sections, Ring Lists 🏠, then each of your lists.
- ‹ beside it goes back to the page you came from. On Android, the phone’s own Back does the same.
On a computer there are keys for these too.

‹ isn’t on Ring Lists, the home page. 🐞 shows while Ring List is in beta.
Where a card covers ? (Settings is one), a small ⓘ beside it opens the help page for that very thing.
Under the title, the small ring beside a list’s name shows how much of it is done: tap it for its tasks by priority. Below that are the buttons for working in the list, starting with the view button.
