Your first five minutes
Sign in, learn the basics on the sample list, start a list, add three tasks, finish one and put one in Today’s Plan.
Five minutes and six steps, from signing in to your first plan for today.

1. Sign in
Go to ringlist.ai and press Sign in. Type your email, press Email me a code, and type the 6-digit code from the email. More on signing in.
The first time, a Welcome to Ring List card asks whether to use AI. Leave Use AI in Ring List ticked or untick it, then press Get started. You can change it later in Settings › AI.
2. Learn the basics
You start in the Sample list, a list to practice on. The Learn the basics card at its top asks for one thing at a time: do it to any task in the list, and the card moves on. It takes a minute.
Then work down Start here, the list’s first section: each task says what to try on it. More on the lesson and the sample list.
3. Start a list of your own
- Press Start a list of my own when the card is done. Or open the sidebar with the button at the top left, then press Ring Lists, then the dashed + circle.
- Type a name (“Home”, say), then press Enter.
The list opens with a section called To do and a new task ready to type into. More on lists.
4. Add three tasks
Type the task and press Enter: a new one starts below it. Type two more the same way. More ways to add tasks.
5. Finish one
Swipe a task to the right, or on a computer click its checkbox. It leaves the list and earns you Light ✦. Show finished, at the top of the list, shows it again. More on finishing.
6. Put one in Today’s Plan
- Tap a task, or click it on a computer.
- Press ☀️ in the row of buttons that appears, then Today.
The task stays in its list and is now in Today’s Plan ☀️, the first ring on Ring Lists. More on making your plan.
