Let Ring List plan your day
With AI on, Claude makes Today’s Plan for you early each morning, with a short brief. Change it as you like, then tap Ready.
With AI on, Claude picks and orders your plan for today early each morning. The first time you open Ring List that day, Today’s Plan opens with it in place, and a note says Ring List planned your day. Change it as you like, then tap Ready.

Turn it on
- Open Settings › AI and choose On.
- Leave Plan my day each morning ticked. Untick it to stop the morning plan and keep the rest of AI.
What it does
- It picks from your open tasks in all your lists: overdue ones, ones due today and what’s left from your last plan come first.
- An Inbox task is picked only if it has a due date or was in an earlier plan, so ideas from Nitepad stay out.
- It fills the plan, and puts the next few tasks worth doing under If there’s time.
- Once you’ve marked three plans Ready, it plans about as many tasks as you usually finish.
- It never marks the plan Ready. That’s yours to do.
- If you already planned by hand that day, it leaves your plan alone. Tasks you planned on an earlier day stay, and it plans around them.
Don’t like it? Undo in the note takes the whole plan back.
Today’s brief
Above the plan, Today’s brief has a few lines on what the day is about. It may also have:
- A nudge about a task you’ve been waiting on for a week or more. Press Nudged once you’ve followed up, or Not yet.
- Yesterday’s plan was: Too much, About right or Too little. Your answer sizes the next plans.
- Worth a look: one thing from a wider look at your lists, such as tasks that look the same. Review asks Claude to suggest changes for you to accept; Not now puts it away.
- 💡 Remember: a pattern Claude noticed, such as “You don’t do errands on Mondays.” Remember keeps it; No and it isn’t suggested again.
Hide puts the brief away for the day.
Good to know
- Your open tasks are sent to Anthropic to make the plan. See AI and your privacy.
- With Weekdays only on, there’s no morning plan at the weekend.
- If the plan can’t be made, the brief says so, with Try again.
