The daily plan reminder
When nothing is planned yet, Ring List offers to plan your day each morning. Choose how often in Settings › Plan, or turn on Weekdays only.
The first time you open Ring List each day with nothing planned, a note at the top says No plan yet today. Press Plan my day to open Today’s Plan, or Not now to put it away until tomorrow.

It shows at most once a day, the same on all your devices. Tasks under If there’s time alone don’t count as a plan.
As a notification
With notifications on for a device, No plan yet today. Plan your day? arrives there at 8:30 a.m. if the plan is still empty.
Choose how often it asks
Open Settings › Plan. Under Daily plan reminder, choose:
- Ask each morning: the usual. Choose Not now three days in a row and it stops asking. Planning on any day starts the count over.
- Always ask: it never stops by itself.
- Off: no note and no notification.
Weekdays only
Tick Weekdays only in Settings › Plan if your plan is for work. Today’s Plan then takes Saturday and Sunday off:
- no reminder and no morning plan at the weekend;
- “tomorrow” from a Friday is Monday;
- a weekend doesn’t break your plan streak.
You can still plan a weekend day by hand.
Your plan streak
Your plan streak is how many days in a row you’ve finished Today’s Plan. Only the plan itself counts, not If there’s time. Today counts once today’s plan is finished. See it in Progress, as Plan streak, with your longest.
