If there’s time
If there’s time is the second part of Today’s Plan: tasks you’d like to get to today, but don’t have to. They come back tomorrow by themselves.
If there’s time is the part of Today’s Plan under the plan itself. It holds tasks you’d like to get to today if the plan is done, without promising to.

Put a task there
- On Today’s Plan: drag a task below the If there’s time heading. On a phone, hold it until it lifts, then drag. While you’re making the plan, the heading shows even with nothing under it, as a place to drop.
- From its list: open its ☀️ (on a computer, right-click › ☀️ Plan for a day…) and choose If there’s time today.
Move it into the plan, or out
- + beside it moves it to the end of the plan itself.
- − takes it off Today’s Plan. It stays in its list.
How it’s different from the plan
- It isn’t counted in the plan. “2 of 5 done” counts only the plan; one you finish here shows as “1 extra”.
- The plan is finished without it. Tick off the plan’s last task and the day’s plan is done, whatever is left here.
- It isn’t enough for Ready. Ready stays grayed out until the plan itself has a task.
- It comes back by itself. Left unfinished, it’s under If there’s time again in the next plan. An unfinished task from the plan itself waits under From your last plan instead, for you to add again.
A task you tick off under If there’s time earns the same Light as one in the plan. Once the plan is finished, the first of them is highlighted as next up.
