Talkpad
Say everything on your mind out loud, and Talkpad turns it into tasks for you to add. Open it at ringlist.ai/talkpad, or from its own icon.
Talkpad is for thinking out loud. Talk about what’s on your mind, and the tasks in it appear as you go, ready to add.

Open it
On Android
With Ring List installed, hold Ring List’s icon and tap Talkpad. To give Talkpad an icon of its own, drag Talkpad from there onto your home screen.
On an iPhone
- Open ringlist.ai/talkpad in Safari.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
On a computer
Go to ringlist.ai/talkpad, and bookmark it. With Ring List installed, you can also right-click its icon in the dock or taskbar and choose Talkpad.
Talk
- Tap the ring and talk. The first time, allow the microphone.
- Pause whenever you like: it keeps listening. Change your mind as you go (“Friday… no, make that Thursday”) and the task changes with you.
- Tap the ring again when you’re done. After about 12 seconds of quiet, it stops by itself.
Add the tasks
Each task is ticked, with where it goes under it. Untick any you don’t want, then tap Add it or Add these.
Talkpad closes onto the page with your new tasks, and Undo in the note takes them all back.
- To put a task in the Inbox instead of the list it chose, tap its place (the one with ⇄). Tap again to put it back.
- To start again, tap ↺ at the bottom left.
- To leave, tap ‹ at the top left. If you hadn’t added the tasks, Undo in the note brings Talkpad back as it was.
Good to know
- With AI off, each pause becomes one task, in your own words, as an Inbox task.
- Talkpad only adds tasks. Saying “I already called Bob” doesn’t finish anything.
- It works in Chrome, Edge and Safari, with a connection. Firefox can’t turn speech into words.
