Type @ and a word in a task, like @phone or @errands, to tag it. Tap the tag to see every task with it, in all your lists.

A tag is a word you put on tasks to find them together: where you’ll do them (@errands, @home), how (@phone), or who they’re for (@dana).
Tag a task
Type @ and a word anywhere in the task’s words:
Call the plumber about the leak @phoneBuy light bulbs @errands
It turns into a small tag when you type a space after it, or finish editing. A tag is one word: letters, numbers, - and _. Use _ for a space: @15_min.
To take a tag off, edit the task and delete it from the words.
See every task with a tag
Tap or click the tag on any task (while you’re not editing it). Search All opens with that tag picked, showing every task that has it, from all your lists. ‹ takes you back.
Tags and labels
A tag is a label without a symbol. Labels such as 🐸 Frog have a symbol and are in the 🏷️ menu; a tag is only typed.
Want a tag in the menus, with an emoji? Give it a symbol in Settings › Labels, where it’s listed as @phone. See Make your own labels.
