Get a big project moving
Give the project a list of its own, a section for each stage, and small steps. Then put one next step in today’s plan, and eat the frog first.
A big project stalls when it’s one huge task. Split it into steps small enough to start, then do one today.

Set it up
- Give it a list. On Ring Lists, tap or click the dashed + circle, type the project’s name and press Enter. Already a section of another list? Open the section title’s menu and choose Make it its own list.
- Add a section for each stage, such as Decide, Order and Build. See Sections.
- Write down the steps under each one, as many as come to mind.
Break down what’s too big
With AI on, choose ✨ Break it down in a task’s menu, and Claude suggests small steps to add under it as subtasks. See Break a big task into steps. Without AI, add the subtasks yourself.
Do one thing today
Pick the next step and put it in today’s plan: tap or click it, then ☀️, then Today. One step a day keeps the project moving.
Eat the frog
Is there a part you keep putting off? Mark it 🐸 Frog: while editing the task, press 🏷️ and choose Frog, or type @frog in it. Put it first in your plan and do it before anything else. A frog is worth far more Light than other tasks, and more again before noon.
