Your phone, your computer, and no connection
Ring List saves as you go, and your changes reach your other devices in moments. With no connection it keeps working and saves when you’re back.
There’s no Save button. Every change is saved as you make it, and shows on your other phones and computers within moments, and for anyone you’ve shared a list with.
Sign in with the same email on each device, and your lists are the same on all of them.
With no connection
Keep working. Offline shows at the top right of the page, and:
- your changes are kept on this phone or computer, even if you close Ring List;
- pictures and files you attach wait there too;
- when the connection is back, everything is saved, in the order you did it, and Offline goes away.
Some things need a connection: ✨ Tell Ring List and other AI, Talkpad, and sending feedback. So do settings that are the same on all your devices: one that can’t be saved says “That didn’t save. Check your connection and try again.”
Two devices at once
If a list is changed in two places at once, both changes are kept, task by task: a task added on your phone and another ticked off on your computer both stay.
Only when both change the same thing about one task, its words say, does the later change win.
If a change arrives while you’re typing in a task, the task you’re typing in stays as it is. When you’re done, the two are put together, and yours wins where both changed the same thing.
Undo after a change from elsewhere
When a list is changed on another device, or by someone you share it with, its Undo history starts over. Undo can’t take back what was done before that.
